About Me
Thank you for visiting my
website.
My passion for photography began when I received my first 35mm
camera in 1985 as a gift.
I have always appreciated nature and love being able to capture
what I can on film from insects to forces of Mother Nature and all
in between.
Photographing people is important to me because of what it leaves
behind. I have photographed many people for the last time in their
lives and the impact it has had on their survivor's is priceless &
irreplaceable.
Ironically, my passion for blues music actually started after I
left my hometown of Helena, Arkansas to make my new home in
Florida. I would return each year to Helena in October to attend
the Arkansas Blues & Heritage Festival formally known as The King
Biscuit Blues Festival. I developed a deep passion for the music
and artists. Being able to share what I capture is important to
me so that others can reflect on their personal memories. I have
been attending blues festivals and events over the South as a free
lance photographer for over 10 years. The blues will always be
close to my heart and is a part of my delta heritage.
